    All About Me
I have been quite fortunate to have spent the majority of my years as an educator here in the town of Hillsdale.  I came to Hillsdale in September 1977 as a sixth grade teacher at the Meadowbrook School.  I taught at Meadowbrook until the district's reorganization of the grades that eventually brought the fifth and sixth grades to George White and transformed Ann Blanche Smith and Meadowbrook into K-4 schools.
Over time I went from teaching sixth grade Language Arts, Reading, and Math exclusively to teaching sixth grade and serving as a part-time guidance counselor at George White.
When the position of elementary school guidance counselor was created in 2004 I applied and fortunately was appointed to the position.  That first year I divided my day between both Smith and Meadowbrook and then in 2005 I became the full-time guidance counselor at the Ann Blanche Smith School.
I enjoy interacting with our students and being able to work with our caring and dedicated staff of teachers here at the Smith School.
I look forward to helping to make this school year a happy, successful, and productive one for all of our students-where our goal is to have each student achieving socially, emotionally, and intellectually to the highest level of their maximum ability.
