    • Dear Students, Parents and/or Guardians,

    • Welcome back to the 2023-24 school year. This school year promises to be one filled with opportunities to grow as young learners. In order to enhance your learning opportunities, we worked diligently this summer to make some changes to George White Middle School so you can have the best experience possible. 

    • We would like to welcome the following staff members:

      • Christina Horton- School Nurse

      • Angelo DeSalvo Jr.- 6th grade Social Studies

      • Erin Gardner- 8th grade Social Studies

      • Kayleigh Basovsky- 5th grade Special Education

      • Susan Osso- 6th grade Special Education

      • Heidi Jau- 7th grade Science

      • Kerry Cramer- Health and Physical Education

    • Our master schedule will be different during the 23/24 school year. Some of the changes are as follows: 

      • All classes meet 

      • There is no rotation or drop

      • Flex period for all students based on student need

      • Periods are 50 minutes with a 40 minute lunch/recess period

      • School day is 8:05-2:47

    • On behalf of the George White Middle School staff, I welcome all incoming fifth grade students to our school community. This is a tremendous experience for all of you as you enter the next phase of your academic career. You will make new friends and meet new teachers. Make the most of your time at GW. To all of our returning students, get ready to dive into new opportunities offered by the school. Become valued and active members of our school community. Define yourself!
