The school counselors of the Hillsdale School District, along with various teachers and administrators, have been trained in a mindfulness curriculum called "Zensantional Kids: Educate 2B!". The curriculum and training workshops were created and facilitated by a former occupational therapist, Allison Morgan. Zensational Kids offers a variety of mindfulness exercises that are broken down into three categories: Breathing, Movement, and Meditation. At Meadowbrook School, we attempt to incorporate a variety of Allison's mindfulness strategies into our daily school routine. On this page, you will find a combination of Zensational Kids resources. We encourage you to practice at home as well as in school!
