The School Safety Team (SST)is comprised of the principal, a guidance counselor, a teacher, and a parent.
    The team is responsible to develop, foster and maintain a positive school climate by focusing on the ongoing, systemic practices in the school and addressing climate issues such as harassment, intimidation, and bullying (HIB).
    The team receives complaints and investigation reports that have been filed.  Any patterns of HIB are identified and plans are developed to address them.  The SST participates in any required training under the Anti-Bullying Law as well as other training requested by the principal.  This includes professional development on effective practices for developing a safe and supportive school environment.
