A "maker" is someone who does things to improve the world around them, invents new things, and loves to create, tinker and play with the world and resources around them.

Makerspaces are creative, DIY spaces where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. In our Meadowbrook Makerspace students can use various art tools and supplies to create their masterpieces.  Some of the fun tools we have are stencils, tracers, crazy scissors, mini markers, crayons, colored pencils, stapler, tape, hole puncher, spirograph, etc.  Two of the most popular things to do in the Makerspace is Origami paper folding and making accessories using rainbow looms and rainbow loom bands.
