Resource Program Overview
The resource program provides students with the tools and strategies they need to better understand concepts and lessons presented in class. We present these tools and strategies in both small groups and within the classroom setting.
Since we all learn differently, the focus is not on identifying the “right” or “wrong” strategy but rather matching the strategy to the particular learner.
The resource teacher’s role is to determine those tools and strategies, explain them to the students and guide each student to use them in ways that compliment their learning style. This allows students to achieve success and understand the objectives of the lesson.
