PAVING HAS RESUMED.
AS YOU ARE AWARE, BUS ROUTES WILL BE AFFECTED.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH YOUR CHILDREN AS TO WHERE TO PICK UP IN THE AFTERNOON.

TRAFFIC ALERT UPDATE for May 6 2016
The following Hillsdale Streets will be directly affected:
Ell Road - From Maple Ave to Pascack Road
Yesler Way - Near the Entrance to Beechwood Drive
Beechwood Drive - from Yesler to Lafayette
During construction, please do not part on the street. Please have all cars off the street by 7:30 a.m.
Due to the wet weather - paving has been postponed.
PLEASE NOTE: BUSES WILL BE AFFECTED ONCE CONSTRUCTION/PAVING HAS RESUMED.

Attached please find the Traffic Notice from the Hillsdale Borough - Various stages of road work will begin weather permitting at 7:30 a.m. on or about Friday, April 22, 2016 through 5:00 p.m., April 28, 2016. This will effect the busing on Friday, April 22, 016, therefore, please be sure to make arrangements to have the bus pick up and drop off your child/children at another stop should the bus not be able to get through. also, these arrangements should be in place upon schools opening should these roads not be compeleted. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

May 24 - kindergarten portfolio conferences
May 10 will be the kindergarten screening/orientation for all incoming parents and students.
Please ensure your child has the appropriate outerwear when leaving for school each day. A jacket, hat and gloves make for a happy and warm child at recess.
**The students will go outside for recess when the temperature is at least 32 degrees.

“Kiss and Go” Reminder:
Parents please be reminded of our “Kiss and Go Procedure” at arrival. Teachers are stationed at our entrance to meet and greet your children and help them get to their destinations. This procedure also applies during inclement weather days. Parents are expected to say their goodbyes at the door and allow the faculty/staff present to supervise their children in the All Purpose Room and in the 4th grade hallway.
