  • The PARCC Assessment

The State of New Jersey’s mandatory assessment, NJ ASK (The New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge) will be replaced by PARCC (Partnership for the Assessment of College and Career Readiness) for our 3rd and 4th grade students this school year.

The PARCC is a computer based test that will assess and measure our students on their understanding of the Common Core State Standards in the content areas of Mathematics and English Language Arts/Literacy.

In preparation for this assessment, Mrs. Lang and our 3rd and 4th grade teachers, have been working with the students on computer-based activities and assessments during class time and before school. To see the morning schedule, please click on the link.

    Morning PARCC help

The PARCC Assessment will be administered in two parts.  There will be a problem based assessment with a window of accessibility from March 2—27th and an End of the Year Assessment from April 27th—May 22nd.

  • Are You a Bucket Filler??

With the focus more on teamwork, cooperation, and children working together towards a goal, we feel this added layer to our Pride Program will make it even better. With that said, all students will be trying to be a bucket filler, not bucket dipper. Please copy and paste the link below which explains the bucket filling idea in a short video.
