The Hillsdale Board of Education has entrusted me, as incoming superintendent, to provide all children within our community a strong foundation in order to be successful 21st Century learners, thinkers, communicators, and citizens. I am fully aware of the high standards that our community holds for me and our district, and look forward to meeting this challenge.
Nevertheless, we cannot accomplish our goals without the development of a meaningful partnership between the schools, parents, and the community. The establishment of a shared vision, and the planning process that ensues, is what creates highly effective schools and helps to bring stakeholders together as we work towards a common desired end-product for the district. Therefore, it is vital that we maintain open lines of communication and work in a spirit of collaboration.
Whether you are a parent, grandparent, guardian, or a community member, we should make educating the children of our community our number one priority. I encourage you to be actively involved with our schools and our district so that we offer our children the greatest chance for success.
Please feel free to call, email, or visit me in person. I look forward to working with you.
